About The Artwork
Cordelia is obsessed with the German Weimar Republic of the 1930's. She has always been unconventual and loved to be different from the normal brown dress of others. Cordelia was lucky to live in a Yorkshire town which has always been a refuge for people who are 'different'. Cordelia likes to dress in her own version of men's formal dress but brings to it a distinctive style. Porcelain paperclay on a wood base.

I am a white middle class English man who tries to avoid the stereotype of a white middle class English man. Work in my workshop which is in the garage shared with my motorbikes. I build motorbikes in the basic stage of an engine frame and wheels without ABS, elec stuff and stay oily. My ceramics express the images in my head transferred to clay as I make them. I am working towards the ceramics I love that show a soul.
