Cylindrical Void is an enthralling piece of art that features a monofilament cylinder with mirrors at opposing ends, creating an infinity effect that draws the viewer into a seemingly endless void. The cylinder of monofilament lines produces a Moire Effect with the viewer's movement, while four clear acrylic rods interact with the lines, magnifying and flipping them as the viewer peers through. Inspired by the dynamic and unpredictable weather of the Venezuelan Andes where the artist grew up, the piece captures the essence of nature's ever-changing moods. The choice of medium, subject matter, and style invites viewers to engage with the artwork on a deeper level, experiencing the sensation of being enveloped by the vastness and beauty of the natural world, while simultaneously contemplating the infinite possibilities that lie within the depths of the Cylindrical Void.
