About The Artwork

The work represents the mythological episode of the fall of Phaeton. According to the Greek myth and Ovid's Metamorphoses. The work describes the instant when the chariot of the sun falls into the river Eridanus at the behest of Zeus. The lightness of the figurative work in bronze was made possible thanks to the insertion of an internal steel structure during the casting process.
