The toy and movie industry in the children's segment is gripped by a cult of animism. When we go shopping in a hypermarket for the pleasure of the little ones, we unwittingly become a prehistoric hunter armed with a charge card. From the hunt we return with plush animals or their fantastic representations in plastic form. Animated films support this industry and its original animistic underpinnings. Reaching back for inspiration to a time when I viewed the world through the eyes of a child, I remembered a universal toy - the Rubik's snake. Its versatility to arrange many simple and evocative animal forms has something of the magic of the cults of prehistoric hunters. The magic of these forms covered with simple graphic signs adds new meanings to them and reveals new possibilities of interpretation that seem to have no beginning and no end. Just like the world of ideas in which we try to find ourselves, survive, enjoy, expand, exchange.... and much, much more.
