ABOUT THE ARTWORK
A small modern bronze sculpture symbolizing a loving couple. Perfect bronze, traditional 8th or 19th anniversary gift! This loving cast bronze couple is the perfect way to say “I love you! ” and renew your life commitment with the love of your life. These lovers sit closely side by side and convey a deep emotional bond. These two silicon bronze figures are lost wax cast; they are mounted on a tan limestone base. The bases are natural limestone, they vary slightly in coloration, size and texture. Traditional black patina is applied onto the bronze. Polished highlights on faces, shoulders and knees are shimmering golden and give the work dimension. The figures are 4.5" from head to toe. Larger versions are available in 10", 15", 24" or any custom size.

Bronze sculpture is the ultimate and since I had been a child I wanted to work in that medium. It took a few iterations. I was a printmaker and painter for almost 20 years, until I started to seriously pursue work in sculpture and bronze in 2008. During that time I still owned a fine art gallery in Copenhagen, Denmark. In 2014, I moved back to Santa Fe, NM a great place for artists and worked exclusively on my sculptures since. My studio is busy with custom orders and family portraits from miniature to monumental.
