The Candy Dishes are carefully constructed microcosms coalescing into communities of disparate things. Each dish encompasses a world composed of slip cast objects coming together to create new conversations. Using the contemporary language of the mash-up, I create a dialogue highlighting difference and pointing to shared notions of time and memory, depth and superficiality, and fragmentation and wholeness.
