With a background in journalism and media, I only recently, in the last few years, started exploring my passion for clay. I hand-build free form vessels and sculptures using traditional techniques such as coiling and pinching. Lately my journey took me back to Kurinuki of my favourite pottery techniques. I am getting inspired by potters, artists and makers here in the UK and abroad. Researching in deep Japanese forms and styles - with a focus on the tea ceremony within its vessels.
