I was Born on Long Island, NY, in 1962.My goal as an artist is to put a unique style and feeling into anyproject, while maintaining the highest standards of technique. Itis about personal growth and the need to fulfill an inner drive tocreate. It is the challenge to make something out of nothing, something beautiful out of what was discarded junk, orbreathing life onto a blank canvass. I am a conduit, a filter.Everything from the music or sounds that are around me, to thephysical environment I work in all come across in the project I'mworking on. My background is an interesting blend of math, science, classical art and oriental art. I strive to combine cuttingedge technology with the tried and true. For the last several years I have been on a self imposed quest to photographically capture and document the remaining scenic beauty of my native Long Island. The style that I use are a cross between EXPRESSIONISM and SURREALISM I have been heavily influenced by oriental art, especially Bonsai, which I studied as an apprentice to a Bonsai Master from 13-19.I then studied painting and sculpture at S.U.N.Y. Albany, where the influences of numerous western masters including Bernini, Da Vinci, Michelangelo, Rodin, Monet, and Van Gogh, began to show in my work. My style has changed dramatically over the years, as I love to experiment with new concepts and different media.I would welcome the challenge of any new project, from a mural or center piece for your living room ,or to impress your clients as they walk into your office, to a new look for your garden.
