view of artwork from a different angle
I was thinking of how love unites all. How interconnected we are, all creatures, big and small. I used humble materials for interpreting my thoughts and feelings: I used steel wire to connect paper beads that I made from glossy magazines, some paper clay beads I made from paper pulp and cement, and vintage wooden, glass, plastic, semi-precious beads and buttons that play with light and cast beautiful reflections. Paper beads are strong and durable, sealed with a matte acrylic sealer. The structure is quite light-weight, strong and flexible, while holding its core structure (reinforced with double strands of wire), it may be bended within individual sections, which are more pliable. You then may add interesting angles or shapes, if you wish - you're the creator of your universe. I like this about this artwork as the owner may add his/hers/their personality to it, thus imbuing it with their own energy.

This distilled beauty hangs on three anchors (push pins): however, it may be arranged in many possible other ways: it may be hung horizontally, as a room divider suspended from the ceiling, you may suspend it on one corner so it would drape around itself, like some wild creature, etc. Have fun with it!

This precious artwork (so beautiful in person!) will be shipped rolled in layers of bubble wrap and foam material, inside a sturdy cardboard box, to protect its integrity.

The magic and wonder of my world reveal themselves in images, both soft and hard, full of mystery, always in layers of meaning. My stories emerge like flowers opening up their petals, one at a time, as I try to bring to light all the facets of a certain moment in time, of a precious memory. But in the end, or in the beginning, it's all about love. I explore painting as a connection to our human vulnerability, of which love is its ultimate manifestation.
