This contemplative piece from the "Clear" series explores the profound interplay between external diversity and internal unity. Three transparent glass vessels of distinct geometric shapes stand in a row, each filled with sand to an identical level. The result is a captivating visual metaphor: despite their outward differences, a single, unbroken line of sand unites them internally. This work invites viewers to ponder: How do we define similarity and difference? What hidden connections exist beneath surface-level distinctions? Can internal essence transcend external form? The minimalist approach—employing simple shapes, transparent materials, and a monochrome filling—allows for a distillation of complex philosophical concepts into their purest visual representation. It challenges us to look beyond the obvious and recognize the common ground that often lies just beneath the surface of apparent differences. Part of an ongoing series exploring fundamental ideas through elegantly simple compositions, this piece offers a moment of reflection on the nature of unity, diversity, and our perception of both. The size is indicated for all 3 objects arranged as in the photo. The size of one varies between 13-20 cm and a height of up to 22 cm.
