Contentment Ceramic sculpture Sculpture

This quaint little sculpture is sitting in quiet contemplation- he has a hint of Yoda, dont you think!? Inspired by lots of products around me at the time of clearing out my retail shop. I was desperately needing to dispose of creative items-I didn't want to but i was running out of space. But feeling i had to justify keeping and utilising them- so i did- i used them to imprint designs into this little fellows clothing. Now i dont need to feel guilty having all of these creative materials! Hand built using earthenware clay and biscuit fired to 1000 degrees- glazed and re fired- total approx 48 hrs in the kiln.
