‘Continuous Fluid Form’ is a title born through my exploration of ‘Sketches in steel’. It is a continuation and refinement of my drive to realise volumised organic industrial forms from steel.

I have an interest in the line between sculpture and objects with function. Capturing a visual defiance of balance and the feeling of a form transitioning.

Both pieces use viewer involved action to physically move the source of light along the primary form line, thus transitioning light between light for the viewer and light for the environment.

Situated together the interplay between the individual forms create visual feelings of intersection and growth. One with a primary focus on positioning light along a vertical path, the second horizontal.
