About The Artwork
The Crane Lamp is an elegant movable Floor lamp handcrafted from solid hardwood and brass. A combination of art and engineering, it is inspired by the shape of the Crane bird extending its neck to catch prey. With minimal eff ort one can position light source at a height which suits. The lamp extends from 60cm high to 185cm high at its tallest. The body of the lamp continuously changes shape when the lamp is moving, creating limitless patterns of structure and shape. The toothed brass wheel ensures the lamp moves incredibly smoothly between positions.
