ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The collection of the Vegetal Creature is issued from my walk-around in the very wild parts of the forest of Fontainebleau, France, surrounding my village. All woods are handmade, locally harvested and protected from parasites. These creatures, all unique pieses, are direct witnesses of the wild. As modern totems, that help us to reconnect with the wild inside us. The "Creature of the Wild n°33" is a special too me. It's a very raw sculpture, expression of the beauty of the wild, with the intervention of the artist reduced to a minimum.

As in a primitive ready-made, the plant is transformed into an object of art, becomes a witness, vector of emotions, messenger of the wild world. That allows us to renew intimate ties with it.
