Dana Naumann - DOG WITH DOG 18 x 10 x 7" 30lb pedestal lead sculpture A guard with a dog stood watch in case a Jew should move. He was a good Nazi . He hated Jews and did his job well, and so did his dog. They would foil plans the Resistance would make. If his dog alerted him, his gun fire would follow. Work inspired by Sigmund Strochlitz (1916-2006) Survivor of Auschwitz. Donor and colleague of the founding of the Holocaust Museum in Washington, DC. Personal friend of the artist.
