My name is Revathi, and I create under the name Versesculptor. I specialize in transforming the profound beauty of Qur'anic verses into stunning wall sculptures, using joint compound as my primary medium. My journey as an artist began with a deep fascination for the spiritual and aesthetic dimensions of Islamic art. As a self-taught wall sculptor, I have dedicated mayself to exploring teh intricate relationship between sacred texts and visual art. My work is a reflection of my personal quest to bring the timeless wisdom of Qur'anic verses into contemporary living spaces. Each piece I create is a meticulous blend of traditional techniques and modern artistic expression. I start with a careful selection of verses that resonate deeply with the themes of peace, wisdom, and reflection. The process involves detailed handcrafting, ensuring that each sculpture captures the essence of the text in a visually captivating manner. I have had the privilege of collaborating with esteemed establishments such as Woodpecker Cafe, where I created a unique coffee cup design that melds art with daily life. My work has been showcased in various exhibitions, and i continue to seek opportunities to share my art with a wider audience. What sets my work apart is the blend of reverence for the sacred amd a contemporary artistic vision. My studio, Arteology, is a sanctuary where creativity and spirituality converge, allowing me to produce pieces that are both meaningful and visually striking.
