As a long-time resident of California Barbara has enjoyed every aspect of its vibrant culture. A graduate of Cal State Fullerton in Graphic Design, with a teaching credential from Cal State Long Beach her experience includes art direction, marketing, and fifteen years of teaching and curriculum development in visual arts and animation. Her work has been featured at the Showcase Gallery, the Orange County Center for Contemporary Art, ArtVenture show in Costa Mesa, and it is in homes from California, Colorado, and Minnesota to Maine, Montana, and Washington, D.C. She has created an extensive collection of cast bronze sculpture. She currently is focused on acrylic painting and mixed media. She believes one can have many occupations and interests, but a passion for art stays with a person for life. She feels fortunate to create her art in an area that provides so much inspiration, and provides so much support for the arts.
