This piece inspired by my garden. Delicate details of kale leaves and dill flowers in stone are brought out by warm colours of brown background and golden hues of oil paint. I love plants! They are amazing in their richness of shapes, colours and scents. In my sculptures, I preserve that amazing creation of nature. Ready to hang on the wall, could be framed in a float type of frame or set as a decoration on a shelf. Perfect gift for garden and plant enthusiasts! Hello ! My passion for art has roots in my childhood in Poland when I used to watch my grandfather make puppets for his theatre. My artistic imagination developed through watching him create. I decided to pursue art at the secondary and university level education. I also organised many exhibitions in Poland, Belgium, and Canada. Someone once asked me why do I paint? I answered: Why do birds sing…? I feel the need to show what I see and how I see it. Why women’s portraits? What could be more interesting? I love to analyse faces; it always amazes me how small details can tell so much about what a person might think or feel. Landscape is a journey of a man lost somewhere between sky and water. I feel that I am a part of nature and nature is a part of me. My bas-reliefs are also an attempt of capturing nature's beauty. Abstract has always been something that attracted me as well. I feel an undefined need to create certain mental tension that evokes internal vibration in the viewer. Even though I started my journey with painting many years ago, every time I discover in it something new and it is always full of surprises. I hope to continue my passion and to share my feelings and experiences with you. I invite you to see my paintings. I hope you will enjoy them! Thank you for joining me on my journey, Syzym
