Docfish Sculpture

While endangered in some areas of North America, Docfish are quite plentiful in Massachusetts, even more abundant than Scrod! In fact, the greater Boston area has the highest population of Docfish of anywhere in the world. There are many different subspecies of Docfish; examples include Oculi Pisces, Infantem Pisces, Ossis Pisces, Auris Pisces, Femina Pisces, etc. Despite many differences in traits between the subspecies, interbreeding is quite common, although strangely enough, the offspring of different subspecies often end up as a different subspecies than either parent, and often even end up as a different species entirely, most often Juris Pisces or Pecunia Pisces.
