Introducing the "Donna Plant" lamp sculpture, an artistic exploration born from the organic unpredictability of nature's growth. This work channels the intricate dance of plants as they evolve in enigmatic ways, inviting viewers to embrace the unexpected while fostering a connection with the greenery that graces their own homes. Its shape beckons viewers to embark on a delightful game of botanical recognition, prompting contemplation about which of their cherished plants might share a kinship with this curiously crafted piece. The deliberate inclusion of grid lines, a testament to the artist's interplay with perfectionism, underscores the transformative narrative of "Donna Plant." Rather than confining the piece within rigid lines, the grid becomes an expression of the artist's liberation from constraint. It mirrors the resilience of nature itself, as even the most methodical patterning concedes to the untamed texture of life. The creation of the grid lines was a therapeutic act for the artist. The pen meandered freely through every nook and cranny of the sculpture's texture, allowing imperfections to coexist. In this release of control, the artist found solace and beauty, mirroring the very essence of nature's imprecise elegance. This sculpture emerges as a tribute to the organic world's enigmatic charm and the artist's personal journey towards embracing imperfection. Presented with a 10 ft. cloth cord, complete with a switch, this work offers not only visual enchantment but also functional versatility, seamlessly melding artistry and utility.

I'm Ashley Zabarte, a sculptor based in Las Vegas, NV, with a passion for crafting unique and contemporary light sculptures. My work is a marriage of art and functionality, and each light I create tells a distinct story. Inspired by color theory and organic shapes, my lamps are more than just sources of light; they are sculptural pieces that transform spaces. Each lamp is texturized and modern, with no two lamps being the same. I take pride in the individuality of each creation, ensuring that they are one-of-a-kind. What fascinates me most is the interplay of light and shadow. The way the light from my lamps dances with the shadows cast by their unique shapes adds an extra layer of artistry to the spaces they inhabit. It's this transformative quality of my lamps that fuels my creativity. With almost 15 years of artistic experience, I've dedicated myself to both creating these unique lamps and fostering artistic growth in my community. I own a retail shop in Downtown Las Vegas, where I not only showcase my work but also host art markets, providing a platform for emerging artists and makers to kickstart their creative journeys. In my art, I seek to create pieces that not only illuminate spaces but also inspire and elevate them. It's my belief that art should be an integral part of our daily lives, and through my lamps, I aim to bring a touch of creativity, warmth, and uniqueness to every corner they grace.
