ABOUT THE ARTWORK
"Drago" is part of the artist's 'Skyworks' series of sculpture. The sculpture in this series are inspired by Humanity's hunt for meaning in the outer Cosmos. Many of these sculptural works have, what the artist describes, as a NASA aesthetic: painted pure white, with minimalist geometries. Others, like "Drago" (named after the Dragon Constellation) employ a more playful, whimsical and surreal approach. Drago has been colorized with a propane torch and sealed with a strong sealant, but still recommended for indoor display only.
