ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Teal green blue patina is applied to the textured surface of this bronze sculpture pair. They are two figures that are mounted on a natural stone base. If you choose to seat them elsewhere you can remove them and the mounting pin and seat them on the mantle for example. Lost wax cast, solid silicone bronze. The figures are signed in the mold, and numbered on the bottom. A certificate of authenticity is included. They are 8.5" from head to toe. This pair also can build a family of three or four. Bronze sculpture is the ultimate and since I had been a child I wanted to work in that medium. It took a few iterations. I was a printmaker and painter for almost 20 years, until I started to seriously pursue work in sculpture and bronze in 2008. During that time I still owned a fine art gallery in Copenhagen, Denmark. In 2014, I moved back to Santa Fe, NM a great place for artists and worked exclusively on my sculptures since. My studio is busy with custom orders and family portraits from miniature to monumental.
