About The Artwork

This sculpture was created to participate in the first international art ceramics biennial in Opihsnya (Ukraine) in 2017. This fabulous bird combines the strength and elegance of the elephant and the wisdom of the owl. His distant ancestors were elephants who dreamed of flying. And his great-grandmother was a wise owl who advised the elephants how to do it: they had to become smaller and learn to swing their ears fast. So a strange Bird of Mudrun came with the power of an elephant and the owl wisdom. He is even afraid of lions. And he is able to think and give advice.
