The artwork is composed of 143 circles cut out by laser in a steel sheet and distributed over ten concentric circles, following a rule based on the mathematical series of Fibonacci where each term is the sum of the previous two (1, 1 , 2, 3, 5, 8, 13). The perforated white lacquered steel plate hides a lightbox coated with silver leaf. This enigmatic constellation of circles seems drawn by chance while following a strict rule, reminiscent of a clock or a compass. A white painted wooden frame completes the work. As there is a Led light, a 3m electrical wire is provided.

My work is mostly inspired by mathematics and architecture. I am receptive to rationality and seek purity of form, organized, non-random line of thought. With logical and mathematical relations such as the golden number or the Fibonacci sequence, my work endeavors to marry discipline and sensitivity. Interaction with the environment, a slight movement, a shift of light, or the viewer's change of place reveal artworks with a renewed perception. Rational and geometrical, my compositions follow strict rules of creation that should disappear to reveal a playful, and intriguing experience.
