Man is a very complicated, advanced and autonomous being. Compared to other living creatures known to us, may be regarded as a miracle of creation. My interest lays in both the past and the present human. The way he changed over the centuries. What is the man's present condition? What he believes in and what are the values he cherishes in the twenty-first century, what are the motives for his deeds, beliefs, what is the attitude towards God, faith, morality, patriotism, death, etc., all these things that are fundamental for creating civilization and functioning in it. What emotions dominate him? What is his awareness? Is today's civilization still developing, or maybe we experience only technological progress, whereas on the cultural, moral and social issues we slide down? These questions are the starting point of my work. Figurative sculpture is my passion, through which I express and communicate my own perspective on the man, his condition, spirit. The physical form of a man interests me as an aesthetic object and a way of communicating the content of the soul, as the material expression of its experiences. My figures are often distorted, deformed, shown through the prism of feelings, passions, concerns, sins that tear a man apart. Bodies of my figures reflect interior: human intellect, consciousness, and thoughts. In my conclusions I am not ideologically neutral. The answers, which I try to give in the sculpture, are infected by my knowledge, observation, experience and thoughts.
