Felted Cat Sculpture Sculpture

Beautiful and realistic looking Norwegian Forest cat. No feeding required ;-). My special felt technique is very time-consuming but makes the fur realistic looking. For all my cats I am using 100% natural fibers (different wool, merino, mohair, also precious fibers like alpaca & silk) to get the natural effect of fuzz/shine on the fur. Of course it is a bit fuzzy, but it is a desired effect and imitates the natural cat fur. I pay high attention to the realistic look of a cat. The cats are felted over an wired armature to make it stabil. They have beautiful high quality glass eyes, made by myself. I made several pictures with different lights, backgrounds and ankles, so you have a better impression and you can see the proportions. Wherever you like to put this beauty, she looks very lifelike. Place it on the window sill, shelf or chair, it will be a real eyecatcher!
