Female form with Triangle Sculpture

I ma moving into working with the female form with curves. The images I have provided resemble animals and human form with represented by a smooth, often decorative surface. They have self-composure in that the shapes display a self controlled, dignity and are youthful emanating fertility, vigour, strength and clarity of form. I try to offer a complexity of balance and composition. They reflect my practise in that I produce one off sculptures that concentrate strongly on form which I like to push as far as I can. I am exploring the spiritual nature of human and animal form looking at the role that physical strength plays in our being and what forms our strength – is it sense of self, spirit, constitution or our physique. I am also very interested in prehistoric and ancient art and its link to the human spirit.
