ABOUT THE ARTWORK
On a wooden support, first create a base that can be made of mortar, jute, sand, slaked lime. He works with layers that overlap and others that are scraped off. Then he intervenes with natural pigments and with signs that refer to ancient alphabets, sacred inscriptions, mathematical formulas, architectural sketches. They can be read and decrypted. They are stratigraphies brought to light, totemic stone atlases. They have titles that evoke the journey.
