About The Artwork

Fiore Mortuus translates to 'decaying flower' from the Latin and Italian- it is one of a series based on the coneflower bud form. It is composed of burned, painted and drilled various found objects. Like Charles Baudelaire's Fleur du Mal poems, it is a response to the sense that our planet is spinning off its axis.

Shipping & Returns

Delivery Time:Typically 5-7 business days for domestic shipments, 10-14 business days for international shipments.

Being an artist was a given in my family, one in which my mother and grandfather were both committed artists. I spent every summer of my youth on the shores of Bois Blanc Island, a pristine jewel that would eventually inform and inspire my work. Currently I am focusing on wooden assemblages which are constructed of various woods and found objects. They are in preparation for three upcoming invitational shows.
