About The Artwork
This is one of a series of hand build ceramic sculpture where I created "ropes" of clay by squeezing the material in my fists. The imprints of the negative shape of my fingers and palms are engraved on the clay "ropes." I then coiled the "ropes" together into life like shapes taking on an almost human form. This sculpture is glazed and shinny. After firing I added spray paint ascents. This work is able to be placed inside or outdoors.
