"Flying Machine" sculpture by William III This free standing sculpture is a half scale interpretation of one of Leonardo de Vinci's Flying Machines. The sculpture was created for an summer exhibit 'Sculptures on the Square' in Troy, Ohio - USA. The sculpture is created primarily of wood that has been stained and weather treated. It has been outside for the past several months, however to continue outdoor presentation it is recommended to be retreated every several years because of the nature wood weathering over time. It would be perfectly fine for interior presentation, however do to size it would need a rather large entry for delivery. It is approximately 14' tall and 10' wide and rather heavy (it has a wooden base that is filled with several inches of concrete to add stability). It has been previously anchored onto a 36"x36"x6" concrete slab and it is anchoring of some sort is recommended. Buyer is exclusively responsible for pick-up and/or delivery.
