VIEW IN MY ROOM
I work at the intersection of painting, fiber art and sculpture. This is an assemblage of organic-shaped fragments inspired by natural forms. Created from hand-cut wood, painted acrylic canvas and paper, I layer the pieces so the work has a sculptural quality, referencing landscape, bits of eroded rock, and history.

I live and work in lovely Weehawken, NJ, a small town on the Hudson River. A lifelong artist, I studied at Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia and Rome, Italy. Inspired by nature, landscapes and erosion, I love organic shapes. I work intuitively and experimentally, driven by composition, color, and texture. My experiences in textile design and printmaking inform my process, showing up in the pattern, layering and composition of the work.
