Forevermore "Float" Sculpture

Mario has been a farrier since 1983 and has been riding horses since 1971 in all disciplines. The medium that his sculptures are made from are horse shoeing rasps. Mario has saved every one for 37 years. The rasps have been used on champions and on treasured family horses for many of his clients for their original purpose to file horse feet. “Ten years ago I had a vision to create this kind of horse art and knew one day I could modify and repurpose my tools, I started asking myself, if not now, then when? I made my first one for my mother’s 80th birthday and from there have created one of a kind pieces to share with others. They have come to life and are better than I imagined”
