ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This hand knitted wire sculpture plays with the feeling of solidity, as the two forms weave in and out of each other, creating the feeling that they are phasing through one another. Sue is experimenting with different organic forms in her wire sculptures and finding new possibilities with shape and layering. This long layered hanging sculpture is made of knitted copper wire hand shaped into dangling teardrop like forms, coated in blue and copper glitters and resin.
