Fossile Brille Sculpture

I often work with different found objects. The first glance reveals the objects I will make from them. After I found the two huge nuts and bolts, it became clear to me: I would make huge glasses out of them. I used cast resin for the "diopters" and one of the eyepieces has an insect trapped in it, like a fly in amber. Hence the title "Fossil Glasses". The size, rough shape and weight of the object allow me to claim that I have created the URBRILLE, the mother of all glasses. This object can serve as an original table sculpture. Also suitable as a paper weight. Material: Iron: welded, fired, cast resin, insect Ich arbeite oft mit verschiedenen Fundstücken. Der erste Blick verrät mir die Gegenstände die ich daraus machen werde. Nach dem ich die zwei riesen Mutterschrauben gefunden habe wurde es mir klar: ich mache daraus eine riesen Brille. Für die „Dioptrien“ habe ich Gießharz verwendet, und in einem der Okularen ist ein Insekt eingeschlossen, wie eine Fliege im Bernstein. Daher kommt der Titel „Fossile Brille“. Die Größe, grobe Form und Gewicht des Objekts erlauben es mir zu behaupten, dass ich die URBRILLE, Die Mutter alle Brille geschaffen habe. Dieses Objekt kann als originelle Tischskulptur dienen.
