About The Artwork
Agnes Prygiel's unicorn-themed sculptures originate in childhood, fairytales and the state of emotional purity. They are influenced by Jeff Koons and his Balloon Dog sculptures. Friendly Unicorn is inspired with the Drag Queen culture, bold make-ups and accentuated eyelashes. It symbolises breaking out to be free in yourself and authentic in front of the others. This sculpture is truly unique because it looks different depending on the light. Bright daylight brings out all of its' colours. It is covered with a glossy varnish to give it a deep shining finish. Unicorn is a symbol of good fortune and magic. Hopefully this piece will bring both into your life.
