My latest aspiration is to develop pieces in a manner designed to stand the test of time. Attention to form is the top priority. Many of my works have an organic/ biomorphic element incorporated in them. The 'Dada' concept is always refreshing in such a manic & astute world. But with regards to pure form; Brancusi stands out and his minimalist style, is beginning to brush on me. Thus I have felt compelled to develop self, in pursuing - 'Timeless Form' From Darkness is a piece, which simply is. Brought to life by interchanging light and shadow. It represents what is, what was and what will be. It seeks to evoke wonder in what we don't know about our world and the vast surrounding universe. We can only ever see and know so much. Therefore living in the shadow of the boundless, unfathomable massiveness of infinity, may at first appear daunting. On the other hand, I embrace its elegance, in it hiding its mysteries and mechanics from us. Because if we knew everything, we would be God, and to be all knowing... would take away, all the fun from life. This piece is #1 from a very limited number of sculptures that will be created in this form. Each model will vary slightly in size and shape, since they are not cast sculptures, therefore each work will be unique in its own right.
