I had already made a similar sculpture of a squatting woman bent back on his heels in position "egg":
I wanted to repeat this pose. I find this gentle and graceful position that reveals the buxom buttocks of a female model and large remained rather thin. The curvature of the spine touch me a lot: it reveals a multitude of curves and highlights its facets with light, while the body of the woman is in a position that hides almost half. By modeling this curve, I thought about the hesitant or greedy hand will be emboldened to realize, eyes closed, a long caress the coldness and heat of bronze up to thrill the skin.

But please, when you have installed the sculpture at home, look, caress her, pamper her, listen to my poem but, please .... Geralda not wake up, she's in her world ....

Plunged into her internal world
Deprived of its attires
Geralda, quiet and serene
Offer her body to the looks

Under the ocean of its curves
Her thoughts wander
Touch her generous breasts
Sneak between her plentiful folds

Eyes devour her
Hands become bolder
Skins shiver
For her and for all eternity.

Christian Candelier seeks to capture beauty, transmit his emotions by sculpting with simplicity, elegance and lightness the curves of wavy volumes to create sculptures of female nudes in a figurative style Based in Sanary sur Mer 83110 in FRANCE, the sculptor Christian CANDELIER takes you into the emotional universe of his female nudes inhabited by momentum, grace and elegance which exalt feminine beauty with a touch of eroticism. He draws his inspiration from the poses of his live models and from the paintings that he particularly likes. He often carries his sculptures to the limit of imbalance and favors the harmony of lines and movement. “I like the pleasure of caressing my bronze sculptures, with their smooth finish, to feel this sensuality of the body as I experienced it during the modeling.” He has had nearly 80 personal and group exhibitions and sells in France and abroad. Since 2018, his works have regularly won awards every year For further information about for sculptures please contact curator@saatchiart.com
