About The Artwork
Can you imagine every building will have a greenness in the future? The sculpture was inspired by vertical gardens and it is a part of the Green Architecture Series. The goal is to create a visual identity of future cities in my paintings and sculptures in which green is a must. Like doors and windows are a must. The sculpture was made of canvas pressed on MDF board and painted with acrylic paint. I used different shades of green, metallic blue, and silver. The artwork is partially framed which symbolizes thinking beyond frames of the past.

Zeljka Paic is a graduate of both the Academy of Fine Arts (2015) and the Faculty of Architecture and Civil Engineering (2011). Zeljka Paic has garnered multiple accolades including the award for best printmaking at the University of Banja Luka in 2015. Her work has been exhibited as far and wide as New York and Amsterdam.
