Islas is a project that the author proposes to explore the landscape that surrounds him and in which he has been developing his life project for years. It is a project where he continues to investigate in his idea of making geometric shapes and horizontal lines coexist with the landscape that he contemplates every day. In a firm commitment to this line of research, it incorporates two state-of-the-art machines in its study, to make them coexist with the most classic tools. Likewise, he is committed to rescuing the frame, complementary and essential ornament for the painting until the arrival of the avant-garde and that contemporary art relegated as much as a fine wooden rod, and proposes in this work to make it a sculptural piece that forms part of the work. It is an idea where the most ancient coexist with the latest technologies, it is finally a twinning between a rasp, a saw, brushes, oil, laser cutter or uvi printing. It is a commitment to miscegenation and coexistence.
