The unique beauty of the Ignazia ring lies in its sculptural form that epitomizes the concept of a flame. It begins with a clean line, and then it awakens through its wild texture igniting as a flame so that it ends with a filigree spark. It curls gently around your finger, becoming one with your ch...

"My vision is to transcend the idea of what jewellery represents by creating art pieces with character, each one being unique and holding power to reflect a personal story." - Bojana Bozhinovska The unique way I breathe life into the pieces I create is by using fire as a paintbrush. Playing with the flame, the distance and moves, allows me to create unique forms and textures that can never be repeated. Interestingly, it is never a process that includes my skills solely. It’s more of a dialogue, interplay between my vision and the silver’s response. I couldn’t think of a greater alchemy trick. Every piece I create is a witness of that synergy, unique to my energy at the moment of creation and the response I receive from the silver to each and every single move with the flame. The material with which you create can feel you, it can read your thoughts, and knowing how to play with that synergy, knowing how to “talk” to the soul of the material, will give you absolute freedom to express your aesthetics and create true art. To celebrate that freedom of sculptural forms and textures, I intuitively decided to balance some designs with a touch of structure. That is where the filigree design steps into play. This ancient silversmithing technique that dates back to 3,000 BC proves its beauty even today with its intricately twisted threads, and as being part of my cultural heritage it is my vision to keep it alive through modern art forms and conceptual design. The choice of silver plays a crucial role as well, both in the process and the final result. The unique sculptural forms, textures, and filigree details require a type of silver with high softness. That is the reason why I choose to work only with fine silver, also known as pure silver, that has a millesimal fineness of 999, i.e. 99.9% purity, hence the exquisite shine and lightness of each and every art piece.
