ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The bronze shows a young woman at the drum, merged with the instrument, devoted to sound and rhythm. The figure is the 2nd copy of an edition of twenty-five, the bronze is signed AK on the plinth, the edition number is milled into the bottom. Since each bronze is individually chased and patinated by hand, there are small variations in the shade of patina and surface texture. You can see the patina of the current example in the main picture.
