This sculpture is made with traditional canvas stretcher techniques, but it is not flat. Acrylic paint has been sprayed on in so many layers, that the tooth of the canvas is no longer visible. From the perspective of the viewer, this painting looks like a solid piece of rubber. But it is a painting that hangs on the wall, and its hollow.
