About The Artwork
In 2015, I sculpted a portrait bust of Jay-Z (with short hair). In early 2022, I began to cut apart the castings and re-assemble them into various permutations. This version is a cross section of Jay-Z's head cast in clear resin. When the head is rotated a triple refraction/reflection appears. Its a very cool effect and best appreciated in video, which can be seen on my instagram @rotatingsculpture
