Kenetlen Lonly Horse In Wilderness Sculpture

I found inspiration to create the horse "Kenetlen" on a cloudy Sunday afternoon walk through a forrest. As I came upon a clearing in the wilderness I observed a dried dead tree trunk that lay on the forest floor, and seven feet away there was a horse grazing. I was inspired by the grace of the animal and eager to draw the horse and imagine creating a piece of sculpture, using material from nature, to bring the horse alive. I feel I have created a sense of movement in the driftwood sculpture which exentuates the beauty in the beast for a lasting appreciation.
