About The Artwork
I felted 3 large Koi carp from wool, for an exhibition in The Netherlands. I also paint with Japanese or Chinees ink on paper. It inspired me to depict the Japanese atmosphere of ink on paper in a number of woolen rugs and a number of felted Koi carp.. Koi carp are also a symbool of good luck, which we can use well this time in the world.
