Ceramic sculpture, finished with black enamel and hand-gilded in 24k gold.

Take a look at the world we live in where in many parts of the world, wearing a mask just to breathe is now the norm. This piece is inspired by toxins, crude oil, tar, darkness, made into a somewhat familiar organic form, adorned with precious metals. Has it become beautiful? Can it become something else?

This piece was featured at AC Gallery Los Angeles
Past, Present, Future Exhibition June 7 - June 21, 2019
