Hi, I’m Zubin Jhaveri, a Mumbai-based paper sculptor and designer. After graduating from art college, I began exploring dimensional art through paper sculpture, gradually expanding my practice into wooden sculptures, 3D puzzle design, and hyper-realistic portraiture. Over time, these explorations evolved into the intricate layered paper works that define my practice today. My work explores geometry, colour, and perception through intricately layered structures that transform flat surfaces into immersive dimensional experiences. Defined by precision and the interplay of light and shadow, these compositions seek to reveal clarity through rhythm, structure, and form. While I have worked across multiple mediums over the years, paper remains my primary mode of expression. I am drawn to familiar or overlooked subjects, reinterpreting them through layering, repetition, and colour relationships to uncover new perspectives. Many of my works develop as long-form series, allowing ideas to evolve across multiple compositions while pushing toward greater intricacy and refinement. Recent series include Spectral Matrix and Transcendence. My work has been featured on international art and design platforms and is held in private collections across more than 30 countries worldwide. I also undertake commissioned works and creative collaborations.
