From my LOOP series, variation of the Moebius loop. Here I cast a marble sculpture, my sculpture LAOKOON, in bronze for the first time. The polished version of the bronze reflects the light and the surrounding space. A fascinating number of views make the sculpture appear different again and again. The sculpture is roughly polished and will therefore change its color slightly over time due to oxidation. It is produced in a total edition of a maximum of 6 pieces. It is also possible to have a version with a white greenish patina. This polished cast is available immediately, additional casts need a longer delivery time of around 3 - 4 weeks. The sculpture comes with the small stone base.

Klaus W Rieck is an experienced sculptor from Germany whose works have been featured in solo and group shows internationally. Interested in making art ever since he was a teenager, Rieck defined his current style exploring clear and minimalist themes in stone and marble. His work is characterized by organic shapes and smooth surfaces. "I have been sculpting and working with natural stone for over 30 years. Many things inspire me: nature, music, art, people and life in general. A new sculpture emerges from an initial idea or concept. Some ideas fly to me and others develop from previous sculptures. Many influences come together, the material stone, the coincidence or the result of the action itself. Each sculpture matures in a process that can sometimes take years until I can no longer change anything, which leads to an optimization. I ended up creating a sculpture that, at best, looks like it was always there. A work of art that speaks for itself and expresses something that cannot be represented in any other way. Its magical. One could try to describe it in words, but it would never be the same. A sculpture is visible from many perspectives and can also be grasped with the hands." Klaus W. Rieck is born 1963 in Documenta Town Kassel/ Germany Since 1996 he is a Sculptor freelance in own Studio.
