Labyrinth (Skateboard) Sculpture

Born in 1992, Louny, Czech Republic. After high school studies and acquiring affection for visual arts, he travelled to New Zealand and Southeast Asia where he made first drawings and sketches. His suggestive paintings are inspired by European landscape and by the people living in it; their implicit relationships and life stories create atmospheric background of the artworks. The formal composition cannot deny an influence by French avant-garde movement and Czech modern classics of the first half of 20th century as well as local cubists and glassmakers. Vanderlaun’s paintings, reliefs and 3D works are sought out by domestic and worldwide collectors, especially from the Americas and central Europe. Besides pursuing the artistic career, he studied at the Department of History of Arts at Charles university in Prague.
